Rudolf Hever is a director of Savills Hotels, Asia Pacific, responsible for driving business throughout South East Asia and working closely with the various Savills offices in the region to provide specialized advisory, investment and asset management services for hospitality clients.
Launched in 2012, Savills Hotels - Asia Pacific has quickly become a prominent player in the APAC region with 7 offices and 28 specialist hospitality advisors. In 2015 and 2016, the team transacted US$2.1 billion worth of hotel assets in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Australia.
Savills Hotels, Asia Pacific provides a full suite of services for owners and investors throughout the hotel asset lifecycle from development advisory (market research, feasibility, valuation and development recommendations) to hotel operator selection, project management, asset management, sales and investment services.
In April 2017, Savills Hotels, Asia Pacific merged with Alternaty – Alternative Real Estate, a leading independent hotel advisory practice in Indochina, of which Rudolf Hever was co-founder and Executive Director. The co-founders directed Alternaty to quickly establish a strong foothold in the market with an extensive track record of hotel advisory roles to major hospitality clients in the region.
Within only 5 years, the co-founders of Alternaty successfully completed a full cycle of business set up, achieving stabilized operational excellence and ultimate conclusion that culminated in the high-profile merger in 2017 with Savills Hotels, Asia Pacific.
Rudolf has in excess of 10 years of experience in real estate in South East Asia and was Chairman of the Judges Panel of The Vietnam Property Awards 2015. He is a frequent speaker at real estate conferences in the APAC region and is widely quoted in the press.
Rudolf holds a master’s degree in Real Estate from the University of New South Wales, Australia, having completed part of his degree at the University of Hong Kong.
